Shanté joined Loyola in November 2022 as a Study Abroad Advisor. Before this position, Shanté spent about 2 years in Morocco working as an English Teacher and 1 year in Costa Rica working with high school study abroad students. Originally from Ohio, Shanté got a taste of travel at a young age. She studied abroad for a year in Mantova, Italy during high school and for a semester in Rabat, Morocco during her undergrad. She loves traveling! Her travels include Italy, Vatican City, Morocco, France, Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Canada. Outside of her travels, Shanté also enjoys spending time with her dog, Barley, and exploring her new home of Chicago.
