Global Mentorship Program
The Global Mentorship Program is designed to encourage students to expand their worldviews, improve their intercultural communication skills, make new friends, and increase English competency. To achieve these goals, domestic and international students meet for activities such as exploring a new Chicago neighborhood, grabbing coffee, eating at a restaurant, attending a sporting event, or a movie night. Housing for After Study Abroad
If you're abroad during the fall semester and want to live on campus the following spring, watch for an email from Loyola Residence Life in early November with information on how you can apply for spring on-campus housing. If you're abroad during the spring semester and want to live on campus the following fall, watch for an email from Loyola Residence Life in late January with information on how you can apply for on-campus housing for the upcoming academic year. If you have questions about living on campus after you study abroad, contact Loyola Residence Life at res-life@luc.edu or 773-508-3300.If, upon returning to Chicago, you're eligible to live off campus, you're responsible for finding your own off-campus housing. Career Development Center
Study abroad will give you a boost in your next job or internship application. Employers are looking for study abroad returnees because they have enhanced communication skills, flexibility, resiliency, and the ability to thrive in a diverse workplace. Contact the Loyola Career Development Center for expert advice on how to communicate your study abroad experience, and the valuable skills you've gained, in your cover letter, resume, and interview answers.
